Success with Getting Things Done - Resources

The following resource links are recommended by Dick Wooden and have proven successful for his life and those of his clients.

David Allen's Getting Things Done Systematic Approach:

The starting place for understanding the principles of David's Getting Things Done approach.  It covers an overview and then delves into the actual systematic approach of work flow.  Practical and immediately useful for getting started re-gaining control and perspective of your work-life.

Need a jump start - get started with 52 productivity principles for work and life.  I refer back to this book for a refresher on a principle that can be used for continuous improvement for each week of the year.

MakingItAllWork-Success-with-crmWhat a great sub title "Winning at the Game of Work and the Business of Life".   When David release this book in hard cover format, I first purchased the full CD version.  After getting so 'juiced' with the Audio I went out and purchased the hard cover book.

If you were to get one book that covers the GTD process and covers the horizons of focus - to really gain perspective and productivity then get this one resource first.

Tim has been called the Indiana Jones of the digital age. I found this book provides new perspectives on what really matters and how to achieve your desired outcomes.  It is based on a few sound principles from the ages and with a newer twist for today's fast past world.

Plan some time for mini-retirements -don't follow the old retirement planning paradigm.

Success Productivty - Oldies but Goodies

There are thousands of self-help books out in the market and hundreds of self proclaimed "gurus" who have made a living by copying the principles and practices from this resources.  I'd suggest you start with the best of the best.

Knowing and practicing these 17 keys to personal achievement will add to your personal satisfaction and to your wealth account.
