While bpm'online has the ability to setup various folders (groups of records) to show columns of information, it cannot show different columns of data for each of the folders. For example, in an account folder for "All Accounts" and one for "Clients" you may want to show different columns of information. Where the "All accounts" folder may show an account type of clients, prospects, partners, etc., this column would not be needed in the "Clients" folder. No sense wasting space on repeating data.
No worry! To the rescue is a free Creatio Market Place add-on called "Advanced list setup for Creatio". Now you can configure the columns listed separately for each folder within a section. To save list settings for a specified folder there is a need to configure at least one filter for the folder.
Use Cases:
The add-on is helpful for users that perform different tasks in one section (e.g. communicate with customers and make analytical reports) and require several list setups.
Key Features:
- separate list setup for a folder in a section;
- possibility to customize simple Excel reports by configuring list setup for a specific folder in a section and using basic Export to Excel function.
This add-on is from bpm'online labs and is free of charge and support is provided only by email.
Installation/Configuration
Configure the list in a folder. Go to a section (for example, Contacts) > Filters/Folders > Show folders, select a folder, go to View menu > Select fields to display, configure a list and save settings.
Example of out-of-box "All contacts" listing:
But for contacts who have the account type of "Customer' there is no need to show account type and to show more important information:

BONUS: Filter highlighting
Another helpful visual for managing folders is the filter highlighting add-on from Creatio Market Place. It will make it easier to see when you have filters set in any section list in Creatio.
Use cases:
It is easy to overlook that a section list is filtered in Creatio. This can make it difficult to find a record or make actions performed against multiple records inaccurate since some records might be hidden by a filter. Filter highlighting makes it more obvious and noticeable when you have a filter set in a section list.
Key features:
- add a colored highlight to any filters when set, the highlight is removed when the filter is cleared;
- easily see when any section list is filtered;
- highlight selected folders when the folder list is closed.
Installation/Configuration
1. Create a filter. Go to any section and create a filter. A green highlight is added to the filter field.
2. Select a folder. Go to any section and select a folder, close the folder area. A green highlight is added to the row of the selected folder.
