I started this life as the oldest son of a family farmer and school teacher. My parents were always positive and encouraged me in my pursuits. They were always looking for a better way to achieve what they were doing for themselves and for others. I was able to enjoy 10 years in 4-H as a 
member and leader helping other young adults achieve success. After college success I returned home to partner with my dad and later my brother in the farming operations. I rose from a county director to state president of the second top agriculture commodity for Michigan participating on the board of directors for 11 years.
As the IBM PC became available and personal computing took off in the early 80's I designed and developed software for local client entrepreneurs. In the early 80's I joined with Chuck Marshall as a business consultant and later as a principal partner with Marshall & Poe, LLC. For the last few year I have focused on Business relationship development strategies and systems for clients in my Success with CRM Consulting, Inc. business.
So I'm a generational farmer turned applications designer/developer turned business management consultant in 1980'-90's. As a consultant, implementer and system support person I have focused on success of my clients. My business philosophy is around a remarkable customer experience, effective marketing and profitable sales using CRM strategy and tools.
My 2 daughter's and their families live close by so my wife of 37+ years and I are able to participate in the lives of our 6 grand children. We love to travel the western US and participate in the National Park experience! There is so.... much the United States has to offer - for those who seek success.
